OUR STORY

How we got started

 

In 1986 after being inspired by a testimony of  a young minister who's gifts made room for him to purchase a building for his growing ministry, I sought the Lord on what gifts I had and how I could be a blessing to others as well as make a decent living as a then single mother of two.  I heard in my spirit "Those cookies you make!"  At the time, I made a simple chocolate chip cookie that wasn't much different from the directions on the bag the chips came in.  But what followed were ingredients (100% real) and instructions that would make the taste of these cookies one of a kind.  

 

The name (as I was also told) "That's a Cookie!" would be the response of those tasting them for the 1st time.  This was the case as time after time, potential business associates and those who became loyal customer's would respond in the same way "Now that's a good cookie!"

 

As I set out with an initial budget of $100 to purchase everything I needed for the first batches of cookies, to my amazement, the cookies took on a life of their own.  Customer's began to place standing orders  and their popularity grew.  The variations expanded as well and to date, there are over one hundred (and counting) varieties of cookies, cakes and other baked goods that were birthed from the divinely inspired recipe that make our cookies a must have once you've tasted them. 

 

That's a Cookie added "Sweet Inspirations" when after many years, life's journeys and a few new beginnings later, I began enclosing scriptures and inspirational sayings with each gift I send out.

 

Today, we are back to spread a little taste of goodness that will satisfy your taste buds as well as inspire and encourage you.  I invite you to taste and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did!
